Single Beef Biryani
Price: ৳105
A single plate of beef biryani, cooked fresh at Eidgah with beef given the long, slow time it needs — the meat should come apart under a spoon, not fight it. Heavier and deeper in flavour than the chicken plate, and the one regulars switch to on a cold evening.
What's inside
- Long-grain rice cooked in beef stock
- Slow-cooked bone-in beef, tender enough to pull apart
- Whole spices with a heavier hand than the chicken version
- Fried onion and ghee
Best for
One person who wants the richer plate. Popular at dinner and after Friday prayers.

Questions about this dish
- Is the beef tender?
- It is cooked slowly until it gives way easily. Beef that needs sawing has not been on the heat long enough, and that is a cooking failure rather than a cut of meat problem.
- Which is better, beef or chicken biryani?
- Different rather than better. Beef is richer and heavier; chicken is lighter and what most people order at lunch. If it is your first time, the single plates let you try both cheaply.
- Is the beef halal?
- Yes. All meat is sourced halal.
